How to prep your skin for wedding season?
The wedding season is here in India. There is this news that 35 lakh weddings are happening just in India this season. Is this true? Someone let me know. Anyways wedding skin prep is very important as your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life. We have to do a lot of planning for the day and oftentimes we tend to forget to take care of our own skin. One thing that should never be forgotten is your bridal skincare routine. So, lets prep your skin for wedding season.
Weddings are all about a lot of emotions. I think most of it all, the bride feels all of emotions. She is happy, excited to start a new life and at the same time she is sad to leave behind her parents. With all these emotions together the brides do get the pressure of looking their best on her D day. Yes, of course your makeup artist should take the responsibility of making your look perfect but you should also do some pre prep for your skin to have flawless glowing skin. Don’t worry to prep your skin for wedding season you can follow some tips.
Tip no 1 – Do not change your skincare routine
For the soon to become brides, it is very important that you don’t introduce any new product in your skincare routine before 4 weeks of your big day. Why is that? When we use any product it sometimes works in our skin and sometimes it does not. The new product can have some side effect if not suited for your skin. So, it is best that you stick to the product you use and do not experiment with your skin.
Tip no 2- Bridal facials
Bridal facials are beauty treatments that can be beneficial for the bride to be or groom to be to have glowing and flawless skin on their wedding day. These treatments should be finished before 4 weeks so that you get proper results. These facials help you with your blemishes, acne scars, tanning, sun damage. Go to your beauty treatment clinic and ask for bridal facials that is best suited for your skin. You should start your bridal facial treatment at least 6 month before your day. Nothing works overnight so you have to give time for the treatments to work on your skin.
Tip no 3- Take advice from your dermatologist
You should take appointment with your dermatologist for any further skin concern. You may have problems with acne or red irritated skin. So, it is better to get those checked before the big day.
Tip no 4- Give more importance to hydration
Hydration is also important for the skin. Use your moisturizers that have more hydrating ingredients like ceramides, glycerin, aloe vera, peptides, hyaluronic acid. Also do not forget to drink lots of water. It is easier to get dehydrated because of all the shopping and booking so remember to drink.
So these are my tips to prep your skin for the wedding season. Somehow the brides always have the glow in their faces. As everyone always say “Happiest brides are the prettiest brides.”
