Is diy skincare as good as science based skincare?

Spread the love

Many of us prefer diy skincare over skincare products. But experts say that diy skincare is not as good as products that has been made in skincare labs. Diy skincare does not have any preservative in them so you don’t know if your diy grows mold or lose its ability.  Whereas skincare products that are made in labs have preservatives. Preservatives help in preserving the contains of a product so that it does not grow mold or lose its ability to help the skin and we get maximum benefits.

For example, you are using papaya to the skin. You don’t know if the papaya grows in a good environment then it can cause irritation. But instead, if you are using a product that contains papaya then you will get the most benefits of papaya, why? Because skincare labs spend hours to make a product that is beneficial to your skin. They create a skincare product which has concentration of papaya that is good for our skin. Then why should we apply diy on our face when we can purchase a product which has ingredient that has been refined, purified?
